EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Due to expected freezing temperatures on Friday night in Evansville, the start time for Friday's series opener between the University of Evansville baseball team and Purdue has been moved up. The game, originally scheduled for 6 p.m. central time, will now begin at 3 p.m. central at UE's German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium in Evansville.
Evansville currently stands at 9-7 overall and UE has won nine of its last 11 games entering Wednesday afternoon's mid-week game at Bellarmine (5-11). Purdue, meanwhile, is 8-7 overall entering a mid-week game against Northern Illinois on Wednesday afternoon.
