LOUISVILLE - Leading with less than five minutes remaining, the University of Evansville men's soccer team saw its hopes of a road victory dashed with two late goals from Louisville in a 2-1 loss in Louisville on Monday night.
"The guys are gutted in the locker room, as they should be. They can hold their head high because they competed and battled for 90 minutes," said Aces head men's soccer coach Marshall Ray. "This proves to ourselves we have the ability to compete with any team in the country. We're looking forward to this week and getting Edward Mendy, Nkosi Graham, and Ryan Harris back with the squad.
