EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After opening their spring seasons with successful finishes at the Alabama State Spring Kickoff, the University of Evansville men's and women's golf teams travel to the LPGA Country Club in Daytona Beach, Fla. for the Lonnie Barton Invitational hosted by LIU - Brooklyn.
At the Alabama State Spring Kickoff, the Aces' women's team earned a third-place finish in the five-team field with a two-round total of 651 (332-319). Leading the Aces was junior Madison Chaney, who finished in a tie for fifth with two-day total of 158 (79-79). Following Chaney, a trio of Aces finished in a row as Sophia Rohleder, Minka Gill, and Giulia Mallman came in 12th, 13th, and 14th, respectively.
