EVANSVILLE, Ind. – While a majority of the cross country teams across the country have already begun their 2022 competitive season, the University of Evansville cross country team is still awaiting its first meet. But, for first-year University of Evansville Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Brooks LeCompte, the later start to the season has allowed him to put his stamp on the program.
LeCompte, who was hired July 5 and arrived in Evansville on August 1 to take over the UE running program, has taken the first month on campus to get to know his men's and women's teams.
