EVANSVILLE - Reaching the 30-win mark for the first time since 2014, the University of Evansville baseball team opened its final series of the season with a 9-2 victory over Valparaiso on Thursday evening at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium in Evansville.
"Great start to the series. Our offense really earned everything tonight at the plate," said Aces head baseball coach Wes Carroll. "We had great at bats early against a great pitcher.This was the offensive day we needed to get back on track. Shane Gray was outstanding as well. Tomorrow is a big day for the Aces.
