EVANSVILLE - Closing out the weekend, the University of Evansville baseball team battled back to tie the game in the ninth before falling 6-4 in extra innings to Ohio on Sunday afternoon at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium in Evansville.
"Tough weekend winning the first two and then dropping the next two. Ohio had a great plan at the plate today with 19 hits," said Aces head baseball coach Wes Carroll. "We had a lot of pressure pitches on the mound to even make it a ballgame. Tanner Craig delivers a big hit to tie it, but couldn't get that knockout punch to win the game.
