With the 2016-17 athletic season approaching, the University of Evansville Athletic Department has announced its promotional schedule for the upcoming fall campaign. The promotional slate features 17 dates spanning men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball, and will include double-point days for the Student Rewards program, giveaway items, club nights and more.
The first promotion of the season will take place Aug. 26, when double points will be awarded for Student Rewards participants and free food will be provided for the first 100 students in attendance at the UE women's soccer regular-season opener against Cincinnati. On Sept. 4, Evansville women's soccer will host Southeast Missouri State and conduct a fundraiser for Field of Dreams Uganda, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide hope for the orphaned and vulnerable children of Uganda through the vehicles of soccer and education.
