EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Coming off of one of the top turnarounds in the NCAA, the University of Evansville softball team is looking for more as they are preparing for the upcoming 2017 season.
Head coach Mat Mundell and his assistants Ashley Balazs & Aubrey Watson enter their third season at the helm of the program after winning the MVC Coaching Staff of the Year Award in 2016. The staff saw the team enjoy a 14-game turnaround last year and are poised to take that next step in 2017.
"The main difference for our team is that we have been able to coach most of these girls for a few years now and they understand what Aces Softball is all about," Mundell said.
