OWENSBORO, Ky. – The University of Evansville track and field program competed at the Kentucky Wesleyan Twilight Invitational, Friday night.
The men's squad came away for a overall team victory of 194 points, while the women came in second with 130.5.
Taiza Alexander highlighted the day for the Purple Aces with a new program record in the long jump. Alexander posted a 5.50-meter jump to finish first in the event, which is also the fourth best in the MVC. She also finished fifth in the 100-meters at 13.54.
Also taking down an outdoor school record is, Kylee Peck in the high jump.
