In a midweek matchup with Indiana State on Wednesday, the Aces secured their first Missouri Valley Conference victory of the year with a 2-1 triumph over the Sycamores in Terre Haute. Evansville scored first as freshman Jayme-Lee Hunter curled in a corner kick, scoring off the set piece to give the Aces a 1-0 advantage in the seventh minute.
