EVANSVILLE - Despite opening the scoring in the match, the University of Evansville women's soccer team dropped the finale of a two-game homestand to Loyola Chicago, 3-1, on Wednesday afternoon at Arad McCutchan Stadium in Evansville.
Senior Emily Ormson increased her team lead in goals, scoring her fifth goal of the season in the 32nd minute. In goal, fifth-year senior Michaela Till made four saves on the evening.
Till was busy early, but held her ground in the opening half, stopping a pair of shots early in the match. Evansville found the scoreboard in the 32nd minutes off a free kick.
