TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - On a cold morning in Terre haute, Ind.. the University of Evansville men's and women's cross country teams turned in impressive performances in the NCAA Great Lakes District Regional at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
Evansville's women's team finished 30 amongst the 32-team field with 886 points and an average time of 24:29 in the six kilometer race. For the Aces' men's team, UE earned a 28th-place finish out of 29 teams, amassing 896 points and an average time of 35:27 in the 10 kilometer competition.
Earning top billing for the Aces for the seventh-time this season, sophomore Anna Lowry led the way for Evansville with an 88th-place finish in the regional.
