INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Following a record-setting indoor campaign, the University of Evansville's men's and women's track and field teams open the outdoor season at the Stan Lyons Invitational on Saturday in Indianapolis, Ind.
Evansville closed the indoor season with a set of record-breaking performances at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. In the distance medley relay, Evansville's women utilized a fast field to shatter the program record by nearly 40 seconds as junior Sienna Crews, senior Tess Hupe, and freshmen Lauren Meyer and Anna Lowry captured a 10th-place finish in a time of 13:31.
