COLUMBIA, Mo. - In the first full day of events, the University of Evansville women's swimming and diving team held onto seventh-place on the second day at the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference Championships in Columbia, Mo.
Through two days, the Aces remain in seventh place, building its advantage over eighth-place Valparaiso to 117-66. Missouri State leads the championships with a team score of 278.
The second day of action featured the first individual events at the championships. The Aces opened competition with the 500 yard freestyle as junior Ashton Adams and senior Megan Schremp each competed in the C final, tallying 20th and 23rd-place finishes, respectively.
