Box Score EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After going ahead 2-0 early in the second half, the University of Evansville women's soccer team battled to earn a 2-2 tie with Purdue Fort Wayne after the Mastodons made a late comeback on Friday night at Arad McCutchan Stadium.
"I think we attacked with speed and wanted to win for sure," said Aces women's soccer head coach Krista McKendree. "We had a bad five minute span there and gave up two goals and that's unacceptable and something that we have to not give up two. If we give up one, okay, but we have to be able to figure out how to get ourselves calmed down and back into our rhythm because I thought we were playing very, very well up until that point.
