EVANSVILLE – Purple Aces women's soccer team heads to Nashville, Tenn. for the first road trip of the season to take on No. 17 Vanderbilt Sunday night at 7 p.m. on SEC+.

- Evansville opened up the regular season against Middle Tennessee on Thursday (Aug. 22). The Purple Aces fell 5-1 at home, with Emily Wolak scoring the lone goal for UE in the 32nd minute.
- Emily Wolak, Emily Ormson and Alex Eyler each recorded a shot attempt, while Michaela Till posted nine saves in goal against Middle Tennessee.
