EVANSVILLE, Ind. - After scoring three goals in four matches to start the season, the University of Evansville women's soccer team saw its offense find its rhythm as the Purple Aces earned a 3-0 triumph over Tennessee Tech at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Friday night.
"Our energy was really good from the get go to be able to play at home good," said Aces women's soccer head coach Krista McKendree. "I would say we've played better on the road than we have at home this year, which is not normally the case, so for us to come out with some energy and some attacking prowess and be able to kind of put them on the back foot early, I think was very good.
