INDIANAPOLIS - In its first road contest of the season, the University of Evansville men's soccer team fell, 2-0, to Butler on Monday evening in Indianapolis, Ind.
The early going saw the Aces hold an edge in aggressiveness, earning four corners inside the first 15 minutes, but could not convert on the opportunities. Butler opened the scoring in the 34th minute as Alex Lehtinen lifted a ball into the box that Logan Lee headed over the head of Frederik Reimer and in. Evansville kept its deficit at one heading into the half.
The Aces had a great chance early in the second half in an attempt to tie the match.
