MARTIN, Tenn. – UT Martin scored four runs over their final three innings on Tuesday night, rallying from behind to pick up a 9-8 victory over the University of Evansville baseball team at Skyhawk Park.
The Aces (13-23) led twice in the contest, but after taking an 8-5 lead into the seventh inning stretch, UTM (13-20) pushed across a pair in the bottom half of the frame before adding a run apiece in the eighth and ninth innings. Connor Aube played the role of hero for the Skyhawks, singling down the left-field line to bring the game to an end with one out in the final stanza.
