LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Evansville women's basketball team saw its four-game win streak snapped on Sunday as the Purple Aces dropped a 89-47 decision to eighth-ranked Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center.
"We knew it was going to be a tough game," UE interim head coach Matt Ruffing said. "I was hoping that we would be able to execute better. I know the windows and timing of everything narrows when you play a team like this. I just wanted to play our game, and at times, we weren't able to do that. I'm hoping we can regroup the next couple of days and close out our nonconference schedule strong.
