CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. –The University of Evansville men's and women's cross country teams each earned third-place finishes at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival at Liberty Park in Clarksville, Tennessee.
For the third-straight race, sophomore Stanley Chepchieng was the top finisher for the men's team with a 14th place finish. The Kabarnet, Kenya native completed the 6k race in 19:35.8.
Closely following Chepchieng were freshmen Dawson Hood (19:46.2) in 16th and Tyler Frields-Reifsteck (19:57.3) in 18th, while sophomore Ricky Hendrix finished the course in a time of 20:15.2 in 22nd.
Rounding out the Aces' men's team were a trio of freshmen as Kalen Ochs (21:05.
