NASHVILLE - Taking on their second top 10 ranked opponent in a week, the University of Evansville baseball team fell to No. 5 Vanderbilt, 9-0, in six innings in a weather-shortened contest in Nashville, Tenn.
"Tough elements to compete in tonight which led to the game being halted," sadi Aces head baseball coach Wes Carroll. "Still searching for a clean game from our pitching staff and defense. Need to play better all around this weekend with Dayton coming in town."
Vanderbilt scored early in the contest, recording a run in the first to grab the advantage.
