BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After taking a two-run lead in the opening frame, the University of Evansville baseball team fell victim to a comeback by Indiana on Tuesday evening, falling in 6-3 fashion to the Hoosiers at Bart Kaufman Field.
Things couldn't have started better for the Aces (8-16) as Korbin Williams and Trey Hair led off the game with back-to-back doubles, and a Kenton Crews single plated another to double the advantage.
Hits from Logan Sowers and Tony Butler canceled out the lead an inning later as the Hoosiers (14-8-1) pushed across three runs in the second to take hold.
