EVANSVILLE - On the road for the final time in MVC play, the University of Evansville men's soccer team could not keep pace with UIC in a 2-0 loss on Saturday night in Chicago, Ill.
The Aces tallied 10 shots on the night to 16 for the Flames with sophomore midfielder Jose Vivas recording the bulk of Evansville's chances, finishing with four shots on the night. Graduate goalkeeper Alex Vidizzoni faced five shots from the home side on the night, making three saves to push his season total to 51.
It was a quiet start to the night from a scoring standpoint in the first half as UIC recorded nine shots and the Aces tallied four in the opening stanza.
