EVANSVILLE, Ind. - In its final contest of 2018, the University of Evansville women's basketball team heads to Madison, Wis. for a matchup with Wisconsin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday night.
The Purple Aces are coming off their second win of the season in a 56-52 triumph over Austin Peay on Tuesday evening inside Meeks Family Fieldhouse. In the early going, the Governors grabbed the lead, but Evansville roared back to take a 15-14 lead after the opening quarter. Continuing to increase its advantage, the Aces held a 32-24 lead at the break and pushed its lead as large as 12 at 36-24 in the third period.
