EVANSVILLE, Ind. - With an emotional series victory over Missouri State in the rear-view mirror, the University of Evansville baseball team hits the road to wrap up the regular season beginning Tuesday evening in Nashville, Tennessee for a non-conference match-up with Belmont.
These two teams were slated to face off in Evansville on May 1, only to have weather washout that contest.
The Aces roll into the Music City having recovered from a four-game downturn by taking two of three games from MSU, and sport a 23-24 overall record. Meanwhile, the Bruins have dropped five of their last six games, including back to back series losses to Southeast Missouri and Mercer, and come into tonight with a 24-26 mark.
