EVANSVILLE – For the second consecutive match, the University of Evansville women's soccer team found itself in double-overtime, but neither side could find that decisive goal at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Sunday evening as the showdown between the Purple Aces and Southeast Missouri ended in a scoreless draw.
"We talked about shoring up some things defensively after Friday, and I'm pleased that we were able to do that tonight," UE head coach Krista McKendree said. "We had to make a few personnel changes, and they were effective. The team played their hearts out today, and that's always hard to do when you're playing in a second overtime game in a weekend.
