JONESBORO, Ark. - In a strong field, the University of Evansville men's golf team recorded a pair of solid rounds at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate at RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro, Ark.
The Aces sit in 10th after the opening day, recording rounds of 311 and 304, earning Evansville a 19-point advantage over 11th place Eastern Illinois. Tournament host Arkansas State leads the way in the intercollegiate with a two-round total of 578 (287 - 291), holding an eight-stroke lead over second-place ULM.
Pacing Evansville in the first two rounds was freshman Dallas Koth, who finished five-over following the opening day with a 73 and 76 in the first and second rounds.
