At first, I didn’t like this trade too much but as I thought about it occurred to me that this is par for the course with Talbot and I highly doubt we would’ve been able to get more for him than this.
Stolarz is a player who has his warts, but many Flyers fans are expressing displeasure at losing him for Talbot in fan forums, so that has to be a good sign, right?
Stolarz has a very modest $761.25K cap hit until the end of this year when he’ll be an RFA.
