EDMONTON - You know Connor McDavid is special because when he isn’t on the ice, you’re thinking, “Why not? Has the coach lost his mind? Can’t he play the full 60 minutes?”
McDavid is not perfect by any means. He gives the puck away at times because he always seems to have it. He passes when he should shoot because he doesn’t want to be known as a puck hog. At times, he’s almost going too fast, often on breakaways.
But McDavid, above everything else, is fun to watch. When he’s on the ice, fans seek him out.
