The past two NHL seasons were difficult for the Edmonton Oilers. After advancing to within a game of reaching the 2017 Western Conference Final on the heels of a promising 103-point performance, they missed the next two postseasons. This year saw a shakeup in the front office and behind the bench, with Ken Holland taking over as general manager and Dave Tippett as the new head coach.
As the Oilers struggle to regain their lost momentum, they'll look to captain Connor McDavid to lead the way.
