The Edmonton Oilers are still waiting on their captain’s first goal of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Tonight in game four might be the best time for him to show up with the team on the brink of elimination.
This playoff has flown by and really seems to have gotten out of hand for the Oilers. Out of nowhere the team now finds themselves on the brink of elimination despite some good play in game three and close hockey throughout. While each game can be close, the series has not been with Edmonton winless.
