EDMONTON - Goalie Cam Talbot found a place to live after a couple of days of scouting Edmonton neighbourhoods. The next real estate question to settle is whether the Oilers’ net will become his on-ice home night after night this season, or whether the former New York Rangers backup goalie will be cohabit with holdover Ben Scrivens or recently acquired Anders Nilsson.“I hope I’m in the battle for the No. 1 job but nothing is ever set in stone,” said Talbot, helping out at the Oilers’ Hockey School at Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert on Tuesday.
The assumption is Talbot, who was acquired at the NHL draft for three draft picks, is ready to be a No.
