Some interesting news has ravaged the hockey world today as the Montreal Canadiens have placed underachieving Russian sniper Alexander Semin on waivers. In 15 games this season he has only managed 1 goal and 3 assists and is a plus/minus +1. Should the Edmonton Oilers snatch him?
Semin is an incredibly gifted, talented winger. At 6”2 and 211 lbs, he has great strength and size. The shot he possesses is equivalent to that of a laser beam. Semi can certainly put the puck in the net. His best season came in 2009/2010 when he tallied 40 goals and 84 points in 73 games with the Washington Capitals.
