(Edmonton, AB) – The Edmonton Oilers will once again join students this year to participate in Read In Week as special guests to help spark youth’s passion for literacy and celebrate their joy of reading. For students in Edmonton and surrounding areas, Oilers Read In Week marks a very special time of their school year as this is a unique opportunity for the players to join their classroom and share stories in a fun atmosphere.
This year, Edmonton Oilers players will be visiting select schools for Read In Week on Friday, October 7, 2016, and members of the new Oilers Orange & Blue Ice Crew will also be participating during the week.
