(EDMONTON, AB) – Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) announced changes to its organizational structure to facilitate growth in its burgeoning sport and entertainment business. This structure will foster alignment and coordination across operating units and is a reflection of the significant growth the company has experienced as it prepares for the opening of Rogers Place in 2016.
Highlights of the new structure include:
- Integration and alignment of all OEG operating units, including business and hockey operations
- Creation of a new Executive Team that includes:
- Daryl Katz, Chairman
- Bob Nicholson, CEO & Vice Chairman
- Peter Chiarelli, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager
- Darryl Boessenkool, Chief Operating Officer
- Stew MacDonald, Chief Commercial Officer
- Bob Black, Chief Project Development Officer
- Jason Quilley, Chief Financial Officer
- Adam Barrie, Vice President, Human Resources
OEG also announced the addition of other senior leaders to the company in new roles.
