Simpson’s contract is a two-way deal. He will make $675,000 at the NHL level and $90,000 at the AHL level.
In 53 games with the Condors this past season, the 24-year-old finished with three goals and 11 points and was a plus-8. He suited up for three NHL games with the Oilers this past year, recording two shots on goal, as well as three hits and two shot blocks.
