The 25-year-old forward suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. As he recovers, Pitlick will miss the rest of the year. After scoring a goal in the Oilers 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues Monday, Pitlick collided with Jori Lethera in the second period. He would not return, and Todd McLellan said post-game that the injury didn’t look good.
Pitlick was an excellent addition to the roster this season, defying all odds to secure a spot opening night. He scored eight goals and 11 points in 31 games this season, and also had four points in his last five games.
