The Edmonton Oilers have released more players from training camp, reducing their roster to 41 players as the preseason action continues.
According to the Oilers’ official Twitter, the Oilers released Ryan Vesce from his PTO contract, and assigned Ben Betker (D), Greg Chase (C), Josh Currie (C), Braden Christoffer (LW), Ryan Hamilton (LW), Kyle Platzer (C), Patrick Russell (RW) and Nick Ellis (G) to the Bakersfield Condors.
