The trades just keep coming for the Edmonton Oilers. However, fans will probably be excited about this one. The Oilers have traded defenseman Justin Schultz to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
According to Darren Dreger, the Penguins acquire Schultz and in return, will send the Oilers a third-round draft pick. Schultz, who Craig MacTavish called a potential Norris-candidate defender, may fit better in Pittsburgh than he does here.

The trade comes after the Oilers sent Teddy Purcell to Florida (or apparently so, considering the Oilers haven’t announced anything officially, so we’re waiting on that).
