With the 2016 NHL Entry Draft coming up in the blink of an eye, the Edmonton Oilers are running out of time to make a decision, which has been one of many monkeys on General Manager Peter Chiarelli’s back.
The team must decide whether or not they will deal away their fourth-overall pick in exchange to move down and get an upgrade in defense, or if they will keep it and decide to trade away one of their “core” players, who are enticing trade chips.
According to Bob Stauffer, Edmonton Oilers employee and Oilers Now host, it seems more likely that the Oilers don’t go with the first choice.
