The Edmonton Oilers have sighed right winger Taylor Beck to a one-year contract, General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced Sunday.
The 6-foot-2, 203 pound winger has 23 points (11 G, 12 A) in 87 NHL appearances. He split his time in the NHL between the Nashville Predators and the New York Islanders, but has been mainly an AHL player for the past few seasons, playing with the San Antonio Rampage. Beck was last under contract with the Colorado Avalanche, and now signed a deal with Edmonton.
The 25-year-old only played two games with the Islanders in 2015-16, delivering six hits and less than nine minutes of ice time.
