Multiple outlets suggest that Edmonton could be a suitor for the puck-moving right-handed blueliner, and should look into the situation. TSN’s Frank Seravalli believes that the team should pursue Shattenkirk now that they have a legitimate chance at the postseason.
However, with his status as a pending UFA, this would not be wise for Edmonton.
