The Edmonton Oilers are rumored to be looking at acquiring another player in order to finish upgrading their roster. One of their targets is obviously defenseman Tyson Barrie, who is running a tough arbitration case against the Colorado Avalanche.
There have been rumors that the Oilers would likely send Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on his way in exchange for Barrie, but according to Oilers Now host Bob Stauffer, that move is not likely.
