The Edmonton Oilers seemed to be finished making big trades after they sent Taylor Hall to New Jersey in exchange for Adam Larsson. However, they still need to address one situation, and that is Nail Yakupov.
The Russian right winger is, without a doubt, one of Edmonton’s trade chips. Since being selected first overall in 2012, Yakupov has struggled when it comes to development, especially granted that he has had five coaches over the course of four years. And not one of those has really seemed to give Yakupov the boost that he needs.
