The Edmonton Oilers are on the hunt for a top right-handed defenseman and have two days before the draft. That is likely when a deal will be announced, and now, there’s another name flying around: P.K. Subban.
Subban has a no-movement clause that kicks in on July 1, and until then, the Canadiens can trade him to any team that they wish. According to ESPN Insider Pierre LeBrun, the Canadiens aren’t exactly “shopping” Subban, but more teams have been calling to inquire about his price.
However, LeBrun doesn’t think that it will be a simple trade that will get Subban out of a Habs jersey.
