David Desharnais will make his Oilers debut, slotting in on the third line alongside Zack Kassian and Anton Slepyshev. Cam Talbot is getting the start between the pipes yet again for Edmonton.
The Oilers are 6-4 through their last 10 games and are coming off a 2-1 win over St. Louis. Detroit fell to the Flames in overtime Friday, 3-2. The Red Wings hold the second-worst team in the Eastern Conference and sit 11 points out of a playoff position.
Projected Lines
The Oilers lines are expected to say the same, except Desharnais will slot in on the third line centre.
