In the NHL, trades can make or break a team, and behind the scenes, many of the phone calls and proposed deals are turned down. The Edmonton Oilers have reportedly turned down a major offer from the Arizona Coyotes, one that would lead to the Oilers giving the Yotes the 2016 fourth-overall draft pick.
According to a Montréal Canadiens outlet, an insider has revealed that General Manager Peter Chiarelli has turned down an offer from the Arizona Coyotes, led by young general maanger John Chayka.

The deal would give the Oilers the seventh-overall pick and the 20th-overall pick in the upcoming 2016 NHL Draft, in exchange for the Oilers fourth.
