The Edmonton Oilers may not be finished adding players yet; the team is reportedly in talks to sign free agent defenseman Kris Russell, as per multiple reports from TSN.
Broadcasters Paul Almeida and Dustin Nielson have both reported that the two parties are in negotiations with one another.
Oilers reached out to Kris Russell a couple of days ago. Expect the two sides to start talking numbers/term etc as early as tomorrow.

Russell is an interesting defenseman, but from the looks of his skill-set, and lack of a contract, many wonder what he can bring to the roster, and if he can actually help solve the Oilers’ problems.
