The Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Anders Nilsson and have reassigned Laurent Brossoit to the AHL Bakersfield Condors.
Brossoit started against the Winnipeg Jets on Feb. 13, where the team then fell 2-1 in the shootout. Despite a tough shootout performance, Brossoit remained sharp throughout the game and gave it his best shot.
In the AHL with the Condors, Nilsson had a nice stint. He posted a 2-0 record, where he maintained a 2.01 GAA and .935 save mark. Originally sent down after a visibly tough performance, Nilsson has now returned, hoping to bring the sharp skill he had with Bakersfield back up with him to Edmonton.
